DOE Grad Fellowship Program
Please look at the following Department of Energy graduate student fellowship opportunity. Fellows will receive a $35,000 yearly stipend for living expenses, $10,500 per year for tuition and fees and a $5,000 research stipend supplement for research materials and travel expenses. This is a very good deal. The fellowship does require US citizenship. I strongly encourage you to apply if you are eligible.

CS teaching award nominations
CS students,
I believe we have some excellent teachers in the Computer Science
Department. You have a chance to honor the teaching of your
professors by nominating them for a University Teaching Award.
Over the years there have been very few Computer Science faculty
who have received these awards in large part due to very few
nominations from students. Please consider nominating a Computer
Science faculty member for this award. It only takes a few minutes
to nominate a faculty member and only students or alumni can submit
Jobs Section
ACM has added a jobs section to the website. Feel free to look over opportunities that are available to you. Listings will be updated as the semester progresses.
